Twenty Twenty Three



Can you believe it is Twenty, Twenty Three?  Yes. We made It! Every year in January there is a great amount of pressure to Reinvent ourselves. “New Year, New Me” is a common refrain on social media, gyms fill up with optimistic exercisers, ambitious goals are set, bad habits are renounced. The start of a new year somehow feels like a clean slate. All this suggests, that "we can be better than we have ever been"!  So, You plan to start over, begin anew and throw the “old” you out the window. Sounds familiar?  Hold that thought . . . 

New beginnings & new Identity sounds great. Is that a reality?  Why put all the emphasis on New this, and New that, when. . We are the Best thing Right Now!!  

I’m at a good place in my life right now, where I have a better understanding of who I am. But, know that there is always room for a little self improvement, and will never stop growing as a person. Yes. I admit that I could be better at a few things. And, We all could, but I'm not planning to go out on the limb and perform any drastic changes. I just want to ENJOY the Life that I wake up to each morning.

"Aging is an extraordinary process, whereby you become the person You were meant to Be".  It took me a few years to get here, so take your time and cherish the moments. 

We are all a work in progress, and Acceptance is really the main Ingredient for Satisfaction, Love and Happiness. Instead of making resolutions for 2023, spend some time writing down some things you really Like about Yourself. Things you are proud of, that make you exactly who You are. You can spend this new year celebrating those things.  Here are a few things I Love about myself. . .

💗I'm ME 100% of the time.
💗I'm a loyal, true friend to many.
💗I'm passionate about Positive Aging.
💗I will wear what I love & can afford.
💗I'm not afraid to show my Emotions.
💗I Love Hard.
