This Week

It's FEBRUARY already.  Have you started to work on your Spring & Summer plans?  January went by so fast and I did not sew one item. That new skill I learned of "doing nothing" is really getting used. If this is how the months are going to roll, we all have to get our butts in gear before Summer shows up.

I'm sure you know about brands such as L'Oréal Paris, Garnier, YSL, Giorgio Armani, IT Cosmetics and Urban Decay.  But, did you know that they all belong to the same company?  It may come as a surprise to learn that L’Oréal is actually the owner of a whole heap of insanely popular brands. Yup! Surprise??  On their site, they brag about having 4 divisions. . L'oreal Luxe, Consumer Products, Active Cosmetics & Professional Products. First time I heard about this, was from my favorite skincare Guru.  Had to do some research and this is what I found.  Here are most of the brands under the L'Oreal Umbrella:

L'Oréal Professionnel - Kérastase - Redken - Matrix - Pureology
Shu Uemura Art Of Hair  -  L'Oréal Paris  -  Garnier  - Maybelline New York
NYX Professional Makeup -  Lancôme  -  Giorgio Armani
YSL Beauty  -  Kiehl’s  -  IT Cosmetics  -  Clarisonic  -  Diesel
Viktor & Rolf  -  Ralph Lauren  - Maison Margiela - La Roche-Posay
Skinceuticals -  Essie  - Urban Decay  -  Cacharel  -  Guy Laroche
Paloma Picasso - Cerave, and more. . .

Why should this interest You?

Because within the family, they share some of the same ingredients and methods. So, if you want to buy a Luxury skincare or make-up product from the L'Oreal family line, and its too pricey for your pocket. It is very possible that you can find similar ingredients in the Affordable line within the corporation. But, don't take my word. Watch this Video Here from Penn Smith Skincare!

BECAUSE YOU'RE WORTH IT.
