When all else fails, a spa day at home might be just what your mind and body needs these days. Everything else is completely out of our control right now, and we have to take a wait and see attitude. But, we can seek some comfort in our control of a Self-care routine. There are real stress-relieving benefits in taking 20 minutes to draw a bath or light a candle, and that's certainly something we could all use. You do not have to turn your bathroom into an elaborate wellness retreat. A spa day at home can be as simple as popping on a sheet mask or investing in a muscle-soothing soak to ease tightness from sitting at your makeshift desk (couch) all day. All you really need is a one-night stand with yourself once a week, and a few low-cost products to de-grit, deep treat and restore your self-love.
Do it your way. Personalize each "spa" session. If you're a bath lover, apply face and hair masks before that dreamy soak. Prefer showers? Do your masks and let them work while you read a book, write in a journal or daydream before spray-time. You don’t have to buy a ton of overpriced luxury beauty products to feel and look amazing. You can make incredible beauty treatments using fresh ingredients you already have at home. Now that we have nothing but time, let's make some Great stuff.
