New Year New Dress

"Happy 2020 Peeps"! - The weather here is very Fickle these days. Eighty degree days can turn into sixty degrees in less than six hours, but we almost never have a day when the sun does not make an appearance. And, for that we are very Thankful. Just this past weekend the temps were in the high 80's. Folks who dared to venture out to the beach were met with sand storms that felt like bee stings. Wind gusts up to 30 mph and rip tides was the order of the beach and only the tourists were brave to venture out.  So, even though it felt like summer, only a few days were very pleasant. On one of those mild days, we took this photo in the black dress I got from the Target clearance rack in September last year.

The plan was to wear the dress on my birthday, but all that changed when my Cuz decided we should go clubbing instead.

The dress was a steal at twelve bucks and the shooze has been in my closet for awhile. I do not remember where they came from, and they are not the most comfortable. It appears that pointed toe shoes are not very kind to my feet, so they may not stick around.

I am so Thankful we got to see 2020, and hope that this year is blessed with an abundance of Joy.
