I am Grateful to Wake Up & Know I have another chance to be Joyful!
According to Psychology Today. . . "Gratitude improves psychological health. Gratitude reduces a multitude of toxic emotions, from envy and resentment to frustration and regret. Robert Emmons, a leading gratitude researcher, has conducted multiple studies on the link between gratitude and well-being. His research confirms that gratitude effectively increases happiness and reduces depression".
Yessss. . . it's true that Gratefulness increases happiness. I thought I was living a Grateful life for many years and then 2019 happened. I got up one Tuesday in September and God's Blessings was magnified when I looked into the mirror - hair out of place, wrinkles more visible, and the residuals of a good night's sleep evident. . . and I was so very THANKFUL. I stayed home all day just to marvel at my new found Joy. I was so happy to be alive and continued to repeat. . ."Thanks be to God". Since that eventful day, I Thank God for every new day. Love ME, Myself & I more than ever and promise to enjoy every.single.day to the max.
